CSR will be communicated to JS members

Although the agreement for Letter of Access is available since a few months, the Nickel REACH Consortia have decided to amend this agreement to ensure better compliance with REACH and to promote a good product stewardship.

What is new?

Within the previous agreement, companies had only the right to refer to the registration dossier for REACH compliance within the EU and to the harmonized classification proposal and the information needed to comply with communication requirements.

As from now, by signing a LoA for Nickel substances, the Company will also receive a copy (locked pdf) of the CSR.

What happens to companies having already bought a Letter of Access for Nickel substances?

Companies having already signed for a Letter of Access will be directly contacted by the Nickel REACH Consortia and will receive an amendment version of the agreement.

When does a company need to contact the Nickel REACH Consortia in order to get access to the data required for REACH?

The Nickel REACH Consortia encourages companies who have a registration dead-line in 2010, to contact reach@nickelinstitute.org as soon as possible and before September 1, 2010. After this date the Nickel REACH Consortia cannot guarantee that all request will be treated in time for the 2010 Registration.
